1. Bookings

1.1. A booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be rebooked, including premature curtailment of stay.

2. Cancellations

2.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.

2.2 In the event of notification of cancellation, the following fees on the full booking costs will apply:
- More than 60 days before arrival date: 30% of full accommodation costs
- More than 30 day before arrival date: 60% of full accommodation costs
- Within 30 days of arrival date: 100% of full accommodation costs
- Premature departure or “no-show”: 100% of full accommodation costs

3. Deposit/Payment

3.1 To secure a booking a 50% deposit is required via credit card or bank transfer. Please be aware, that we are unable to secure any bookings without deposit.
3.2 The total amount or balance is due on arrival in cash (ZAR) or via bank transfer (proof of payment required).
3.3 All amounts are net of any bank, transfer or credit card charges.
3.4 Rates are subject to change without prior notice - however rates on confirmed bookings will be held.

4. Valuables, belongings, safety and vehicles

4.1 Guests are to ensure that all valuables are kept in a safe place, Beach Break Lodge and it’s owners do not take any responsibility for loss or damage of any belongings.
4.2 Guests enter and leave the premises of the Beach Break Lodge at their own risk.
4.3 The owners of Beach Break Lodge do not take responsibility for injury or loss.

5. The right of admission is reserved

5.1 The owners of the Beach Break Lodge have the right to request that any guest leave the premises with immediate effect, should the need arise, due to disturbance, damage to property, or unruly behaviour. No payments will be refunded at this time.

The above Terms and Conditions are deemed as being accepted on receipt of confirmation a booking.
