About Us

I first came to Cape Town in 2012 for a surf trip and instantly fell in love with the breathtaking landscape, the friendly people and that unmistakable “This is Africa” feeling.

What started as a holiday soon turned into the idea of having my own little house by the sea -and eventually became the Beach Break Lodge.

Since then, my husband Ben and I have been sharing exactly that with our guests: a home away from home that feels easy, relaxed and personal.

Here, you’ll find both - a small, laid-back community where it’s easy to connect, and enough space to unwind and do your own thing at the same time.

We’re always happy to share our tips on spots, the area and things to do nearby.
